Walks at the foot of the chilterns

The booklet “Walks at the foot of The Chilterns” is published by Aston Rowant Parish Council. Updated in 2015, it gives details of four Circular Walks of 4 - 6½ miles. It also has shorter options for three of the walks.

There are history, bird life and flower notes as well as route descriptions with maps and sketches. Two of the walks pass Fiveways in Church Lane, Aston Rowant - a small nature area with a chalk stream, managed by the Parish Council.
